Today was an unprecedented day in Kenwood history! Just as we want to recognize this day June 6th, as the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. We want to thank all of those that have served and continue to serve this Nation to give us opportunities like we experienced today in Kenwood!
June 6, 2024 will go down in the History of Kenwood as one of the greatest days this community has experienced in its long and very proud history. We will look back on today as we marked the opening of a brand new opportunity for our student’s who now have facilities to work, play, and learn life lessons in that are second to none. We are so thankful to the Cherokee Nation, Chief Hoskins and all the staff of the Cherokee Nation who have made today possible. We look forward to continuing to build on great things that are happening in Kenwood!
If you have not seen the new Woody Hair Community Center, please come visit it! Make plans to stop by the school and see us as well, we would love to show you around and see if you can feel the winds of opportunity blowing across the reservation like the rest of us can!
